Steve Johnson

Steve is the longest tenured associate at Maschmedt having began his career in 1988 covering independent dealers in Northern California. Eventually Steve moved to Southern California in order to manage our larger chains and distributors, including Big 5, Turners, Western Hoegee, and Sport Chalet. In 2006 Steve had an opportunity to leave California and move to the mountains of Colorado where he managed our Sports Authority, Sportsman’s Warehouse and Cabelas business.

Today Steve runs our hunting and shooting sports business as well as managing a few of our larger accounts. He lives on a 35 acre horse farm with his wife Diane of 25 years where they enjoy their passion for hunting, fishing and camping in the outdoors with their 4 adult children.
